Accounts and newsletter
Supabase manages accounts, confirmed emails and preferences. Resend delivers account emails and the newsletters you request. You can change preferences in the dashboard or unsubscribe in any newsletter.
Referrals and rewards
A referral link stores last-touch attribution and an arrival identifier for 30 days. Referred registrations count after email confirmation. We keep confirmation and review records; each reward promotion has its own published rules. No purchase is required.
La Cargada: entries and proposals
We use entry, proposal and contact details to review submissions, manage partnerships and respond to enquiries. The gallery shows the handle, title, fanbase and approved video link, without publishing email or neighbourhood. We retain accepted permissions, votes and review decisions to administer the contest. Newsletter consent is optional.
Cloudflare Turnstile checks requests to prevent abuse and processes technical browser information. Request limits store a derived identifier, not the raw IP address. While measurement is on, a creator link stores a campaign code and browser identifier for up to 30 days to count visits, confirmed registrations and approved entries. If you turn it off in Privacy preferences, those identifiers are removed from this browser. Cloudflare privacy policy.
Visit measurement · Google Analytics
Google Analytics 4 is on by default and uses cookies to measure visits and information about devices, browsers, referrers and approximate location. We remove URL query strings and fragments, except the five standard campaign tags (utm_source, utm_medium, utm_campaign, utm_content and utm_term) that our own links add, and exclude the CMS and search. Google Signals and advertising personalization are not enabled. Your choice and measurement cookies last up to 180 days. You can turn it off at any time in Privacy preferences: we then stop measurement and remove this site’s Google Analytics cookies. Turning it off changes nothing you can read. Google privacy information.
Advertising measurement · Meta
Meta Pixel is on by default and is independent of Google Analytics: you can turn one off and keep the other. The pixel shares visits to the Diario’s public pages, except your account, sign-in, search and administration, with Meta, together with technical data such as IP address, browser, URL and referrer, to measure Diario ads. When a new reader confirms an account, we also send one anonymous sign-up event, with no email, name or account identifier. When you submit a video to La Cargada, we also send one anonymous entry event, with no handle, title, video link, email or account identifier. We do not send other form or account data or enable advanced matching. Dashboard, CMS, search and account pages are excluded. Your choice lasts up to 180 days. You can turn it off at any time in Privacy preferences: we then stop the pixel and remove this site’s _fbp and _fbc cookies. Meta determines the lifetime of its own cookies and subsequent processing of data already received. Meta privacy policy.
