An Argentine music showcase in Bilbao
Argentina’s Secretariat of Culture reported that Juan Lopez, Marttein and Feli Colina were selected as the three Argentine music projects that will perform showcases at BIME Bilbao 2026, the industry event taking place from October 27 to 30 in Bilbao, Spain.
The delegation was officially presented during the opening day of MICA at Palacio Libertad. According to the official announcement, the initiative is promoted by INAMU, the Secretariat of Culture, the Foreign Ministry and the Argentine Investment and International Trade Agency.
What the selection involves
Each selected project will have a 30-minute performance and accreditation to take part in the fair, professional spaces, meetings, networking and conferences. The focus is not only on playing live: BIME also works as a contact point for circulation, management and music industry links.
The Argentine group also includes representatives from organizations and sectors of the music activity such as UMI, ASIAr, ACMMA, AAAPAC, AATIA and CLUMVI, along with other professionals chosen through an open call.
Why it matters now
The story is timely because the international meeting takes place in late October and Argentina’s participation sets a concrete agenda for projects and professionals seeking to expand circuits beyond the country.
BIME Bilbao 2026’s official website also lists Argentine presence in its artist program, including Feli Colina, Juan Lopez, Marttein, Odd Mami and Tussiwarriors. To avoid confusion, the official delegation named by Culture for showcases is made up of Juan Lopez, Marttein and Feli Colina.
