A folklore festival in an urban setting
República Folklore will take place on Saturday, November 21 and Sunday, November 22, 2026 at Parque de la Ciudad in Buenos Aires, according to the city tourism office’s official agenda and a CZ Comunicación press release published on September 8.
The event brings together major names in Argentine folklore and popular song with artists from different generations. The confirmed lineup includes Soledad, Abel Pintos, Chaqueño Palavecino, Los Nocheros, Jorge Rojas, Cazzu, Teresa Parodi, Los Tekis and Los Manseros Santiagueños, among others.
Which artists are listed for each day
For Saturday, November 21, the press release lists Chaqueño Palavecino, Abel Pintos, Soledad, Cazzu, Los Tekis, Los Nombradores del Alba, Los de Imaguaré, Orozco-Barrientos, Los Alonsitos, Nahuel Pennisi, Los Tabaleros, Nati Pastorutti and other artists.
For Sunday, November 22, the lineup includes Jorge Rojas, Soledad, Los Nocheros, Los Manseros Santiagueños, Lázaro Caballero, Sergio Galleguillo, Ahyre, Dúo Coplanacu, Teresa Parodi, Maggie Cullen, La Bruja Salguero, Los Berbel and more names from Argentina’s federal music scene.
Why it is worth watching
The overall picture is broader than a list of established acts: the same venue will host historic figures, widely popular artists and names linked to provincial scenes. That mix makes the festival a useful snapshot of how folklore continues to coexist with new ways of circulating music.
The city tourism office presents the event as having multiple stages, regional food and cultural spaces. The press release announced general sales through All Access; the prices it published correspond to the September 8 communication and may need to be checked on the ticketing site before buying.
